Coffee Break

Usually consists of making coffee. Grinding beans. Boiling water. Filtering, pouring, adding, and stirring.

Drinking takes place along with something else.

I remember traveling, driving alone on a distant stretch of road. I would take coffee breaks where I ordered a cup in a roadside Denny's restaurant. A break from the tires' constant roll and engine run noises. Sitting there with my warm cup, sipping joy. Not much else, sometimes the sole customer for a time.
